It all started in 1982 with 8-year-old Joel Clark going door-to-door with a red wagon selling brown paper bags filled with his grandfather’s heirloom flapjack recipe. Neighbors were fans and more often than not, he returned with an empty red wagon.
Even though we’ve grown into the top-selling whole-grain pancake brand, we remain humble and stick to what got us here—crafting delicious, whole-grain and protein-packed staples as if they were a hearty and delicious family recipe.

You’re at the heart of all our creations. So, we craft our premium, delicious breakfasts and snacks with 100% whole grains and protein for fuel that sticks.
We chose whole grains because they're packed with fiber, protein, vitamins, and minerals essential to fueling an active life. So instead of refining our wheat and “enriching” it with some of its original nourishment, we left it as is—nutrient-rich to support sustained energy keeping you satisfied.

The more you get outside, the more you want to preserve it. So, we started a give-back program called Keep it Wild where we partner with non-profits like The Vital Ground Foundation, whose mission is to protect and restore North America’s grizzly bears and conserve wildlife habitat.


Our headquarters is in the shadow of the beautiful Wasatch Mountain range. Surrounded by wide-open spaces and unblemished pockets of land, we’re constantly inspired to spend our weekends exploring these amazing wild places.
